THERMOGRAPHY

SERVING FORT LAUDERDALE AND SURROUNDING AREAS

Thermography is thermal imaging either for the full body or breast. It is used for the early detection of many diseases and disorders.

WHAT IS THERMOGRAPHY?

Thermography is a safe, adjunctive screening method helpful in the diagnosis and documentation of diseases. Thermography can be used as a whole body approach to wellness with the understanding that there is no "normal" asymmetrical heat in the body. Thermal cameras can detect heat on the skin surface that may show underlying pathologies. Thermography is an excellent tool to assess your health.

This state-of-the-art screening procedure captures heat images of the breast to aid in the early detection of breast cancer, in some cases up to 10 years earlier than a mammogram, with absolutely NO RADIATION. Thermography can establish overall breast health and is an excellent test for assessing fibrocystic breasts and response to treatment. Thermography is a helpful screening for early detection and prevention.

Meet our Certified Thermographic Technician

Ashley Ageloff received her bachelor’s degree in Education and is certified as a health coach, yoga instructor and thermographer. She merges her skills in teaching, and knowledge of health to educate people about thermography and wellness. Her passion is to spread awareness about health modalities that can effectively help others.

For a long time, Ashley was on a quest to live healthier. She got to a point in her life where she was stressed and unhealthy. She realized that the bread, sugar, and coffee she was consuming were contributing to adrenal fatigue and overall exhaustion. A short time later, Ashley was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease, which is an autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid. She knew it was time for a change. This is when Ashley met with a health coach and along her journey, she changed the way she lives, thinks, breathes and eats. Ashley is grateful she gets to inspire and guide others to do the same.

When Ashley found Thermography she realized that this screening tool can save lives, and prevent health issues from developing. Since Ashley’s passion is prevention, she decided to get certified as a thermographer and spread awareness about this non-invasive, radiation-free screening tool. Now Ashley speaks at different locations on the benefits and science of Medical Thermography.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

No, you may book an appointment directly with our office at 954-489-7778.
Approximately 10-30 minutes. Plan on being at our office for 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the scan your receive.
We pride ourselves with prompt turnaround. In most cases, our Board Certified Thermographers will have the results back to your office in 1 week or less. We have 3 interpreters viewing your images for optimal reporting.
Not at this time. Keep in mind, cutting edge technology is not covered in most fields of medicine. Our office charges a nominal fee for this technology despite the high cost of the equipment and the cost of running our office. Insurance coverage should not keep you away. Think of all of the other less important things we spend our money on!
Our centers charge based on regional factors. Typically, the range is $199-299 initially inclusive for the images, interpretation, and report. Most agree this is a small price to pay for EARLY breast cancer detection. We also offer full body exams, as well as female and male profiles starting at $329.
Take appropriate action and be sure to follow-up as recommended by our doctors and yours. Many times we are able to pick up cancerous changes before other standard tests, which provides the ability to act swiftly and appropriately. For example, thyroid heat may be found long before a blood test will show signs of thyroid dysfunction. It is well advised to work with a doctor familiar with thermal imaging and its life-saving ability. We have doctors available for consultation through PACT.
About 90% of our patients nationwide have a full body or profile done at the time of their exam. We have a 97% patient satisfaction rate based on recent surveys. The information not only shows areas of dysfunction but may show if your personal wellness plan is working.
Please help educate your doctor. Even the "best doctors" think inside their guidelines and frequently reject new ideas and technology. Chances are they are misinformed, or not informed at all. Share information with them that you can download from medicalthermology.org. After all, these scientific studies come from well-respected medical journals.
Your initial scan will dictate what follow-up is necessary. With no suspicious findings, most follow-up recommendations will be 12 months. Scans that warrant monitoring typically will be 3-6 months. If you are using thermography to monitor your overall health then it is a good idea to be tested quarterly until your health is stable. Annual wellness checks are recommended.
The purpose of the thermographic evaluation is to show where there are areas of hot and cold in the body. Thermographic imaging is greater than 99% accurate for this purpose. Therefore we can say there are no false positives with thermal imaging. Heat can be present due to a pathological process or injury.
